How to Use Dark Mode in WhatsApp for Android & iOS? One of the most used Internet Instant Messaging app is WhatsApp. It is used by hundred-thousands of people across the globe. WhatsApp Messenger is a freeware and cross-platform messaging and voice over IP (VoIP) service owned by Facebook. The application allows the sending of text messages and voice calls, as well as video calls, images and other media, documents, and user location.

The application runs from a mobile device though it is also accessible from desktop computers. The service requires consumer users to provide a standard cellular mobile number. Originally users could only communicate with other users individually or in groups of individual users. In September 2017 WhatsApp announced a forthcoming business platform which will enable companies to provide customer service to users.

Nowadays, almost every app is giving the Dark Mode feature. iOS 13 is the latest example. Most of the crowd also like this feature for various reasons. Such as, Dark mode is healthy for eyes than the white color, especially in dark or at night time. Moreover, it saves battery consumption by almost 30%. It also makes your reading experience better.

You have to update WhatsApp to the latest version.

How to Turn On Dark Mode in WhatsApp for iOS?

1. Open up WhatsApp in your iOS device.

2. Tap on Settings

3. Now, tap on Chat.

4. Then tap on Theme.

5. Select the Dark option to apply the Dark Mode.

6. Done.

How to Turn On Dark Mode in WhatsApp for iOS?

1. Open WhatsApp and tap on  three dots.

2. Select Settings option

3. In the Settings, tap on the Chat option.

4. Then tap on Theme.

5. Select the Dark option to apply the Dark Mode.

6. Done.

How to Revert Back to Light Theme in WhatsApp?

To revert back to Light mode, follow the same steps but select Light option in the end. Or, follow the steps below:

1. Open WhatsApp. (For Android: Tap on three dots.)

2. Select Settings option

3. In the Settings, tap on the Chat option.

4. Then tap on Theme.

5. Select the Light option to apply the Dark Mode.

6. Done.
