Now, tap on Chat option and then, tap on the toggle button for “Save to Camera Roll”.

Initially, you required a file explorer to do it in Android device. If your device have already good inbuilt file manager then use it, or you can download third-party file explorer from Google Play Store. Now, do exactly like below steps:

#1: Open up file explorer and navigate to Internal Storage (sdcard0) > WhatsApp > Media > WhatsApp Images

#2: Now find a option to display hidden files and folders. Such as, in ES File Explorer app, user can toggle option to “Show Hidden Files” from left side menu. This option is different for every file explorer. Even, some basic inbuilt file explorers don’t have this feature.

#3: Now create a New Folder in same directory with a name .nomedia

That’s it. To revert this thing, just simply remove this folder.
